How Can A Chemical Burn Wound On The Foot Be Treated?

Hi, I got chemical burn on my foot a few days ago. I washed it with water but I still got a wound and its now yellow inside it and is a bit painful. How should I treat this? its around 1.5 cm long but is a bit red around it. A friend told me Savlon could help. Please let me know how to take care of it at home? Thank you!

hi sir/mam,ulcer over foot is very painful condition.i appreciate you for immediately irrigating the wound.dont worry it takes time but certainly heals.i prefer antibiotic cream topically,analgesics and antiseptics.SILVER SULFADIAZINE OINTMENT is a good choice as topical antibiotic.acetaminophen with hydrocodone combination(VICODIN) can be used for pain relief.savlon or povidine iodine can be used as an antiseptic.if the wound doesnt show any signs of healing with the above treatment in another 1 week,kindly have a surgical consultation.any other issues,please do not hesitate to write.thank you.take care.bye.
