Hello, I have read your question and understand your concern.

If you were my patient I would have suggested you to not to worry about it initially.
cysts are usually the normal tissue that turn slightly abnormal and bulge due to multiple reasons. Depending on the cyst content (air, fluid has), further diseases could be ruled out.

As you have already met your doctors and have been assured to not to worry about it, I could also consider it be non-cancerous; although, if you are still worried and just to control your anxiousness about the same, you could insist your doctor to obtain a biopsy to eliminate any possibility of cancerous growth.

For your general body pain I would suggest you to take an OTC analgesic like Ibuprofen two times a day for two days, (considering you do not have any other ailments) and take plenty of rest and fluid.

Hope I have answered your question, if you have any further questions we will be there to help you.
If you do not have any further clarification, you can close the discussion and rate the answer.
Wish you a quick recovery.
