How Can A Cyst In The Ovary Be Treated?

Hi, I have a complex cyst on my left ovary, one week ago I felt huge amount of pain like a labour contraction, it lasted 30-40 min then stopped. No symptoms for a week and now I m bleeding, my period isn t due for a week. And this bleed feels different

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be a rupture of the cyst.
Ruptura and torsion cause damage to blood vessels and bleeding.
I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination and USG scan to know the status of the cyst.
Cyst size > 4 cm should be removed by laparoscopic surgery.
Tablet Tranexaemic acid and progesterone shot help to reduce the bleeding.
Fluid resuscitation and blood transfusion will help to compensate the blood loss. Tablet ibuprufen for the pain
Take healthy diet with iron supplements
