Hi,

It is good you have washed the wound, this is the first step to treat a dog bite. Meanwhile, make sure you keep it clean, if it is bleeding, you can cover it with clean gauses. It is safe to wait till tomorrow morning unless the bleeding is not stopping or she has any problems with moving the hand or leg (the fingers as well) or she has any neurological symptom.

If she is moving her legs and hands, as usual, has no numbness or weakness in the area and the bleeding is under control she can wait till tomorrow to see the doctor. When she goes to the doctor she might need a tetanus shot and immunoglobulin and consider rabies prophylaxis as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
