Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM
I have read and understood your concern.
I wish to know if your Doctor is vaccinated or not and also if your tetanus immunization is up-to-date.If not the case, you ought to have benefited from anti-tetanus injection and anti-rabies vaccin after the incidence for precaution.
Itchy and swollen bite spot may signal tissue infection. However, i will advise you see your Doctor to examine spot.If any arguments in favour of infection, a penicillin group of antibiotic like cloxacillin may be prescribed and if need be, pain/anti-inflammatory drugs may also be prescribed and exploration of infection site/dressing.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health. You may write back if more concerns.
Best regards
