How Can A Double Uterus Be Treated?

I was just told that I have two openings to my vagina. They did an ultra sound and are waiting for the results, they said that I either had a double uterus or a septum. But my question is, if it is a complete septum (from the uterus to the opening of the vagina) does that mean I will have 2 cervix's? Should surgery be done to remove the septum? Could intense pain result from this condition?
