How Can A Face Lump With Swelling And Tenderness Be Treated?

started with swelling under my jaw. then found lump in front of ear and along with that my face next to that has been a little swollenand very tender to touch. now when I woke up, the swelling has seemed to spread to my cheek, moving up towards my eye where underneath my eye and cheek have become tender to the touch also. Can you give me any answers please?

hi.

it is best if you consult with a doctor for examination. based from your description, it could be mumps. if upon clinical examination, and it is indeed mumps, it will resolve spontaneously. just take pain relievers after eating as needed. if it is a lesion or a lump, further diagnostic evaluation and management will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
