How Can A Flat Itchy Mole On The Left Eyebrow Be Treated?
I had a flat mole over my left eyebrow ever since I can remember not too big either and never really payed much attention since I have many others all over my arms and chest some look more like freckles, it’s been a couple of months since I notice it started growing and itching a lot. Just two days ago it also started getting really dry and feels like scab more than a regular mole. The itchiness won’t stop I try not to scratch over it, instead I go in circles around it to stop the itchiness. Is this something I should be concerned? It’s been two days with nonstop headaches, I might just be paranoid but I can’t stop thinking they might be related to the growing mole.
As per your case history of itchy mole, my treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like fusiderm-b cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days. 4. Other treatment options are an oral steroid, hydroxyzine took only after consulting a dermatologist.
