Thanks for using Health care magic.

Read your query.

Pus and swelling in the last molar suggests chronic abscess in the tooth.

I would advice you to visit your oral and maxillo facial surgeon and have a radiograph .If the tooth is impacted and infected, please have it extracted.
For pain ibuprofen can be taken (if not allergic to any medicine).Antibiotics like amoxicillin 500mg and metrolag 400 mg for infection on prescription.

Do salt water gargling.Do not apply hot bag externally.

Hope this was useful.
Thanks and regards.

Dentist, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Dr. Shruti Khatana's  Response
Hi,

Reading through your question, i feel that seeing a maxillofacial surgeon would have been in your best interests. But, since you have no insurance as of now, this is what i would have suggested patients of mine in a similar situation:

1) Start rinsing your mouth & nose with warm saline rinses
2) Start Chlorhexidine mouth was rinses
3) Take a lot of steam inhalation
4) Start on a penicillin group of antibiotic, Metronidazole , some decongestant and a painkiller
5) Drink plenty of fluids and keep yourself dehydrated

The relief that you got was probably because the tooth was infected with suppuration/pus beneath it. Since it was not addressed, the tooth got extruded and caused infected maxillary sinusitis as well.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good health. Regards.
