How Can A Hard Cheekbone Lump Be Treated?

A couple of weeks ago I tripped in my workshop and fell sideways into the vise mounted on my workbench, hitting my cheekbone under the corner of my left eye pretty hard. I applied ice immediately, but still had quite a purple/black eye and swelling. I figured if I did fracture the cheekbone, there wasn't much they could really do, so I never saw a dr. The black eye and swelling are gone, but I have a hard lump on the bone at the point of impact that is clearly visible and tender to the touch. Will it dissolve on its own over time? Should I see my orthopedist? Thanks!
