How Can A Hard Lump Inside The Throat Causing Swallowing Difficulty Be Treated?

I been having a hard lump like bone from the back wall inside of my throat for the past 5 yrs only staying to feel a pain now I thought it was normal to me but now I noticed that it isn t normal it bothers me Everytime I have to swallow I can feel it as if my back of my tongue can feel a lump i also can feel it if I reached in there I can feel the hard like lump what can it be any ideas?...

Hello,

As you have this problem since 5 years, so I think we have to investigate it.

As a physician I think it may be:
1) Cyst
2) Mucus accumulation
3) Acid reflux

I will suggest you to review here with detailed history or consult with the ENT surgeon for detail local examination.

I think you have to do endoscopy, CT scan neck region after ENT opinion if required for proper diagnosis. Treatment of that lump is as per the diagnosis.

Keep yourself well hydrated, maintain proper hygiene and drink boiled or purified water. Along with that, you continue with steam inhalation and betadine gargling twice a day.
