How Can A Kidney Stone Be Removed?

Hi Doc I m having a kidney stone of 6.3 mm in my ureter. Doctors have suggested to drink plenty fluid and alkasol. Is it possible for the stone come out with urine and of so how long usually it can take from this location with lots of fluid intake. Please suggest. Thanks Armaan

Hello,my name is dr.Dorina Gurabardhi.I understand your concern.

The most common advice for kidney stones involve drinking different fluids to help flush the stones out.

Be sure to drink plenty of water as well and extra lemon juice.
Continue this treatment for several days until the stone passes.
It is thought that the lemon juice could break down the kidney stones and the olive oil would aid in lubrication to pass the stone more easily.
