How Can A Kidney Stone Be Treated?

Hi I am in the middle of passing a kidney stone. I have 2 in my left kidney--a 3mm and a 5mm. So went to emergency room with sudden severe pain and vomiting. Treated for 6 hours and sent home with pain and nausea meds. I am away on vacation and head for home and my urologist today. Yesterday I drank 3 liters of h2o as recommended and this am my urine is bright red. Is there something I should be doing about this? It will take me 12 hours to drive home--daughter doing the driving. Thank you.
