General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The surgery, if it is needed, would get rid of the stone, it would not affect or touch her genital tract.

Some persons do not need surgery and the stone resolves with the use of copious fluids. Drinking a lot of fluids can sometimes flush out the stone, this depends on the size of the stone.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
