How Can A Knee Injury Be Treated?
I am 57 years old and twisted my knee at work. I drive a front end garbage truck that requires lots of physical labour moving heavy garbage bins on average between 400 -600 lbs by hand out of enclosures so I can tip bins with forks into truck. Apparently my knee has a frayed and irregular meniscus. At my age do you have a reccomendation how to deal with it and will this physically challenging job be a problem going forward.

Hello,
Consult an orthopaedician and get an MRI scan done. Minor injuries can be managed conservatively with the cast. If the injury is severe, you might require an arthroscopic repair.
