How Can A Leg Rupture Spot And Calf Muscle Tightness Be Treated?

Hello how are you? Yesterday I felt a rupture in my leg concerned I looked down at my leg and saw a red mark growing. My calf muscle was tight since then I have been rubbing my calf with icy hot, putting cold compresses on it, and taking hot baths to release the muscle. I have also wrapped my calf in an ace bandage because it seems to give it support. My question is how long will this last and I have a job that requires me to stand on my feet for long periods of time will that have a bad effect on my leg?
