How Can A Lifted Nail Be Removed After Popping Blood Blister?

Hi, 2 weeks ago I trapped my finger and had a blood blister under the nail. I popped the blister to relieve the pressure but now the nail had lifted off the bed and is only held on under the cuticle but the nail will not come off. How can I remove the nail? What should I do?

It would not be wise on our part if you attempt to remove you nail be yourself at home. You'll carry a high risk of catching an infection.

Consult your dermatologist for proper nail avulsion with all aseptic precautions, under antibiotic coverage.
