How Can A Lip With Spreading Scars And Pus Be Stopped?

Hi, I was recently bitten by a dog on the lip which caused a cut about 1/2 cm deep. I have had 5 stitches and have antibiotic pills and antibiotic gel to put on it, but the cut seems to be spreading and I think there is a little pus on the wound. I'm not sure if this is my body trying to heal the wound, or if it is an infection! Any advice on this or how to stop scarring? Thanks.

Hi,
It seems that there is infection developed under stitches.
Consult your doctor and get dressed well.
He will clear the pus and will do dressing properly.
If infection is more then some stitches might be removed.
go under care of your doctor.
Ok and take care.
