How Can A Lump On The Back Be Treated?

Hello Doctor, I was at work, working on a machine and changing out something, and the gate above my head came open while I was bending down, when I came up I did not know that the gate was behind my back close to the back of my neck, and I hit it, now I have a knot on my back and it looks like its gotten bigger over 3years, what can I do to get ride of it.........Terry

Hi,

Most probably it can be a hematoma.

If you are worried much, you can consult a physician and ask for an MRI scan.

Generally, it will settle by itself.
