How Can A Lump On The Knee Be Treated?

I just wanted to know, based on cost and effectiveness which is a better choice. I dont have insurance and have a mass in/on/around my knee, im assuming the first step is an xray, I have a primary that i havent seen in 3 years, when I had insurance. should I go to him or an urgent care? thank you for you time as i know it is very valuable!

Hi,

You should visit primary if you can visit him earlier because the lump is not an emergency, you may be turned back from there. Also, primary will assess the lump and guide to respective specialist. So it's better to visit primary. However, if the primary is taking time and mass has appeared suddenly and painful then you should visit emergency.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
