How Can A Metal Scratch Wound On The Arm Be Treated?

My 11 yo son just showed me a bad scratch he received yesterday that s about 10 in long on his arm. He said it happened reaching under a metal fence for a ball. I ve now put hydrogen peroxide on it then triple abx and wrapped it. He will need to go get a tetanus shot tomorrow don t you think?

Hello,

Since your child has got an injury with metal so it all depends upon previous immunization and injury. Since this is 10 inches please give an injection of tetanus.
