How Can A Missed Vein Trauma Causing Acute Wrist Pain Be Treated?

A nurse missed a vein in the top of my right hand while trying to administer digoxin. I experienced severe pain for three weeks in my right hand, wrist and forearm which rendered it unusable. Now I'm starting to get back to having about 60% use of hand, wrist and forearm. Pain appears to move from place to place every week or so. In the morning I have difficulty closing my fingers into the palm of my hand. A sprained wrist feeling is constant.The doctors here (I live in Europe) don't know what my problem is. Can you tell me what is wrong with my hand/wrist?
