How Can A Muscle Pull Be Treated?
My husband has an RX for Apap/codeine. He has pain from a muscle pull. His doctor had him on Hydrocodone/acetaminophen. We called for a refill late today but the pharmacy has not yet received it. Can he take the apap/codeine until Friday A.M. when he calls the doctor again?

He may need anti-inflammatory drug with muscle relaxants.
Both Norco 5/325 (Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen) and Apap/Codeine 30/300 (Codeine and Acetaminophen) tablets are for the relief of moderate to severe pain.
Since, he could not get the refill for Norco 5/325, he may be given the other drug Apap/Codeine till his doctor returns.
