Dear doctor,
I'm 24 years old now. I have been having a nasal sounding voice since my childhood. When I consulted two doctors in my high school days, one had asked me to go for a surgery (once I'm 18 years) to operate the slight bend in my nose but the other one had said that there was no need for such a surgery. I don't have any other difficulty other than this problem with the voice. Is it advisable to go for an operation now or is there any other treatment? Thanking you in advance.
Hello. If there is a slight bend on your septum/nose no need to do a surgery. You (ENT doctor) should check for Adenoids , or Hipertrofia of the Turbinates also. So you need a FIBRO RHINOPHARYNGOSCOPY.
wish you all the best...
