How Can A Nipple Lump Be Treated?

Hi there, I have noticed that there is a white lump on one of my nipples, which has been there for about 5 months now. It seems as though it is not too white when I initially take off my bra, but after a moment its as though it fills up and becomes much more noticeable. Is there a reason for this? Thanks

Hello,

I can understand your concern. The white fluid filled swelling on the nipple area most probably could be sebacepus cyst as they are common in this area. Usually they do not require any treatment unless they get imfected or cause you any discomfort.

However, it is still necessary to visit a physician/ gynecologist once to confirm this diagnosos as physical examination is needed for confirmed diagnosis.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic for your concern. Take care.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
