How Can A Painful Ear Infection Be Treated?

Good evening. I am taking Otomize antibiotic in spray. I have an ear infection an the doctor gave me this. It is my 5th day of taking it, but is becoming too painfull now. And I didn t feel pain before, until yesterday. Can you please let me know why this is happenning?

Some advices that I can give to you are :
-Take pain reliever, typically acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin)
-Take antibiotics for 7-14 days
-Drainage may be needed
-Topical antibiotic ointment can be used
-Stay hydrated
