How Can A Painful Lump On The Buttocks Caused By An Injury Be Treated?

I fell down several wooden steps on my back side. On the Right side I slide down and landed on the railing at the bottom with my right arm stopping me. So I have injuries to my back, bottom & right arm. A huge knot has come up on my buttock (rt) it is hot to touch. This happened on Thursday evening. Now it s Saturday morning. I can walk a little better. But my back is killing me. Plus when I cough oh my goodness I have to try not to. It feels like how much pressure in my bottom. Plus it kinda hurts to go to urinate

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As the pain amount is substantial, there sounds possible cellulitis stage with an infection inside the hematoma.

Dysuria can be co-related with possible bladder injury or secondary spasm from hematoma pain.

It is recommended to visit ER for x-ray and ultrasound examination to cure it precisely.

Primary relief with ice pack application and analgesic tablets.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
