How Can A Perineural Cyst And Pain Radiating Down The Right Arm Into The Fingers Be Treated?

I recently had a MRI showing a 1.5 mm bludge on C6-C7. Also showing a perineural cyst. On C4-C5 a 2,2mm bludge as well. I had surgery in 1997 on C4-C5 and C5-C6. I have had pain for some time now. I am worried that the pain is going down right arm into figures. I am also having head aches. Weakness in the right arm as well. What do you think of the severity of the MRI findings

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Intervertebral disc bulging at C6-C7 level is the probable cause of pain going down right arm. Disc bulging causes pain due to compression of nerve roots emanating from the spinal cord. Bulging of disc is managed by rest and painkillers. I suggest you to consult a neurologist for clinical assessment and thus management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
