How Can A Pimple In The Pubic Area Be Treated?

My daughter is 13 and very active with dance every evening. She had a pimple in her pubic hair two months ago and we put alcohol on it several times a day but saw her pediatrician who gave her bactrim. Now it is back but appears to just be blood in the exact spot. What do you suggest?
