How Can A Rash On The Sole And Numbness In The Legs Be Treated?

Hi, my boyfriend has been experiencing some sort of rash on the bottom of his feet, It looks as if it is a rash but goes back to the normal color of his skin its on the bottom soles of his feet. He also experiences periods where his legs will fall asleep out of no where, and he has a pain in his back everyday. What could cause the sensations in the legs and feet that I have listed?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history of numbness and rash on feet.
My treatment advice is -
1. Take good nutritious diet full of green leafy vegetables and milk.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a vitamin b12 supplement once daily for 3 months.
4. Other treatment options are topical lignocaine, oral gabapentin given only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
