How Can A Red Scab On The Cheek Be Treated?

So I was taking a shower and I scratched my face because I had an itch but all of a sudden I guess a couple of hours later I noticed like a small red scab-like thing and my mom saw it and today she took a picture of it and sent it to her cousin {my 2nd cousin} who is a nurse and my 2nd cousin said to put some Neosporin on it. My mom just put some Neosporin on that scab-like thing on my cheek. We re trying to figure out what the thing on my cheek is though. Could you please help me?
