How Can A Scar Tissue On The Forehead Be Removed?

My dermatologist did a biopsy on a small place on my forehead and it was diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma. He can do the removal or send me to a plastic surgeon. I m not worried about having a scar but which doctor should do the removal? Thank you
