How Can A Shin Injury Causing Pain Be Treated?

I recently took a basball of the shin of a batter while i was pitching last week i took a line drive to the opposite shin but this pain is much worse i cna put weight on it not to much though and i cant stretch it out or bend it is it possible that i chipped it
