How Can A Skin Burn Be Treated?

Hi sir my 6 yrs old son had a burn injury from bike silencer yesterday which is around 4 inch by 1.5 inch wide with the top skin layer has come out & the fresh pink lower layer is exposed. Been to hospital & got dressing done by nurse & been applying silverex ointment since then with augumentin Duo & Ibugesic+ syrpe 5 ml twice daily. Pls advice how long it might take to heel the wound
