How Can A Skin Burn On The Face Be Treated?

I suffered a second degree burn but refuse to go to the hospital s ER. The burn is mainly on my face and beside it being charred, the blisters seem to be popping on their own from time to time. What can I best use to prevent any infection and avoid the blisters from oozing on their own ? What can I use for the burning feeling and sensation ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi i do care for your concern.
Fire burns are better treated at the hospital, as it is important to know the extent of burn involved and treatment started according to it.
Since it involves face i would strongly suggest to consult your physician.
For time being using silver nitrate cream would help a bit.
If needed antibiotics such as amox with antacids should be added.
Keep the region neat and tidy with application of above cream only.
Hope i have answered your question, If you have more feel free to ask.
Thank you.
