How Can A Skin Cut Behind The Ear Be Treated?

where the back of my ear meets the back of my skull there is a cut..looks like a razor cut..from which a clear liquid/ lymph fluid leaks. it's been doing it for months on my right side..but then switched to the left. any clue what it is, why it is doing that, and how do I fix it.

Thanks for contacting with your health concern.

1. As the symptoms are persisting for 1 month and above, thus following is my opinion:

i. clear liquid could be the exudate which helps in wound healing and promotes cell proliferation and provides nutrients for cell metabolism.

ii. Since I'm unable to examine you or take a thorough history, so it is best to go to an ENT physician and get yourself evaluated. [only then one can fix/manage the problem]

PS. As the symptoms are shifting thus could be because of an autoimmune disorder, could be some relapsing variety [if proved otherwise] or an infection.

I find this answer helpful
