Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your insect bite.

As per your history it seems the area is leading to the infection at the bite place. Because of the poison the local area becomes prone to infection.

You need to keep the wound clean and apply local antibiotic cream like neomycin cream.

You may also need a course of oral antibiotics like the ofloxicin 200mg twice daily for 5days but only after consulting your doctor. Because the lesion is there for a week now and non healing you need to visit a doctor for further evaluation.

Hope my answer will help you and visit us back if you have any further queries.
