We no there is no breaks but the pad on my hand under my fingers is still swollen and painful to move the middles and pointer finger. I ice it and massage it and am wearing a support glove.. Is there something else I can do to speed this up any ?

Hello,

The wrist is swollen because of the trauma you experienced and this is a normal reaction of the body trying to recover itself. The presence of additional liquids in the affected areas of the wrist causes the painful sensations when you move your fingers.

To speed up the healing process you can do the following:

- Wrap up the entire wrist (up and down the joint connecting the forearm with the hand with a bandage; inside the bandage you have to put grilled onion and salt mixed together. Preferably it should be black salt, from the sea (not table salt or fine white salt) but if you cannot find it then normal salt will also be fine.

- Make sure that your entire wrist is covered by the mixture grilled onion-salt and keep the wrist wrapped for a day (when you are home or when you sleep); the next day renew the onion-salt mixture and re-wrap the wrist again for another day. This mixture will help suck away the excess liquids in your wrist and will speed up greatly the healing process.

- The wrist does not need to be wrapped very tightly as it can block the lymph and blood circulation, but it just has to feel as a glove on your hand and it is important not to be too loose because the onion-salt mixture needs to be in contact with the skin at all times in order to be able to suck the extra liquids in your wrist.

This is an easy and simple method to help your wrist heal in a natural way.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
