How Can A Static Spot Caused By Traumatic Optic Neuritis Be Treated?
i suffered from what one ophthalmologist thinks was traumatic optic neuritis last October after jumping into a swimming pool (normally...no accident at all) anyway, i was left with a little static spot in my field of vision (not a floater)...it's like a clear disc that i only see when i look from left to right (not right to left) and it's sometimes barely noticeable, but other times it's very noticeable..and will be accompanied my a warped field of vision around the spot...very strange. when it's good, it's barely noticeable, but when it's bad, it's all very annoying. what gives?
it is ascotoma, may be injury in vetrious retina. it can be examined oly by fundus examination. aretina specialist may examine and advise for treatment. his opinion has to be accepted.
