Hi, I got swollen jaw left part of my face. Sometimes it hurts a little up to my left ear, can't open my mouth, It's hard to insert even a tablet of medicine. Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Swollen jaw along with difficulty and pain in opening the mouth seems to be most probably due to wisdom tooth related problems.
Many a times if there is a partially erupted or impacted wisdom tooth present then the gum flap over it can get swollen and it can lead to cellulitis and space infection leading to the symptoms that you are facing..
Same can occur if you have a decayed tooth since long that is left untreated..
So my suggestion is to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can first of all advise you a higher dose of stronger antibiotics along with painkillers and injectable antibiotics and painkillers will also be given for faster relief..
In case if there is any pus formation it will be drained by incision and drainage and along with it drain tubes will be placed to remove the pus completely followed by antibiotics and painkillers..
Once swelling gets reduced, mouth gags can be used to improve mouth opening and also the treatment of the cause will be done to prevent recurrence..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
