I was told this week that a CT scan shows my pulmonary artery is swollen. My pulmonologist said now I will undergo an echo-cardoogram, to " see if I have PAH". If the swelling does NOT mean PULMONARY Artery Hypertension, what is it from, do you think? My pulmonologist works at National Jewish. He stated it was very unlikely I have PAH, but he walked out of the room and said " come back in 6 months". I felt uncomfortable being told any further questions would be on hold for 6 months. 1.) WHAT CAN I DO TO HEAL MY PULMONARY ARTERY, MEANWHILE??? My echo-CARDIOGRAM is scheduled in two weeks.
I HAVE BEEN SLEEP DEPRIVED for months, for a number of Reasons, mostly avoidable, AND I STARTED NOTICING PAIN IN MY CHEST, OVER THE Past 10 months. I will start getting to bed earlier. Is there anything else I can do? I am nervous about having to wait 6 months to see my assigned lung doctor about this, again. He seemed so noncommittal. What would you do?
