How Can A Swollen Toe Be Treated For A Gout Patient?

My right foot toe is awelling for more than 1 week, I know I have gout since before and I have medicine named colchicine. This is the first time that it doesn t heal, I took a lot of medicine and sometimes I take indomethacin too. Right now is still swollen and pain I m scared to have kidney failure so what is your advice.

It is swollen then you need to get one Xray done soon.Also do the routine blood tests cbc,ESR,KFT,LFT and routine and microscopic urine tests.Show the swelling to a rheumatologist.If needed they might aspirate fluid from the joint there.And after examining further treatment will be decided.take the medicines what you are taking till now.Dont stop the medicines.see the doctor soon with tests results.
