How Can A Toe Nail Injury Be Treated?

Hi i smashed the side of my big toe nail over a year ago now half of it looks affected and that half is growing back raised up a week ago it cracked on the side and it s very low seems like if I cut it the nail won t grow back. Should I remove the nail?

You can remove the damaged nail carefully and clean your toe. This will help the new nail grow easier.

If a picture of your nail is possible please send to me for further evaluation. You must know that the new nail needs time to grow maybe weeks and months sometimes but it will grow for sure just be patient.
