How Can A Torn Ligament In The Ankle Be Treated?

hi, i had a question regarding ankle ligament. while im playing cricket i met with and stone and its been 25 days.. i took MRI and doctor told one of the outer ligament has completely tore and one of the inner ligament has partially tore.. he told to rest for 3 more weeks.. does my condition requires surgery??

Hello,

Partial tear or sprain may not need any surgery, just taking rest is sufficient. If tear is complete associated with swelling or bleeding, then need surgery.
