Yes, I had operation on my left knee over two yews ago for torn meniscus and after two weeks they were pulling out 40 CC fluid for about 8 weeks then sent me to my regular physician who continued for about 3 months till about 15 CC was taken and gave me a cortisone shot. Still had lots of pain and he sent me to another orthopedic Doctor who put me in a brace and PT and still need a cane to get around. He says can t operate as the bone is to deteriorated and some day may lose my leg and knee. What can I do?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my surgical experience, the revision surgery is required in your case to repair the damaged structures of left knee joint. Though it is difficult, it is not possible.

I would like to address further regarding the issue if you can provide me with the latest reports of MRI of the left knee joint.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
