Hello,

Your tumor is benign and MX3 is beneficial.

From the information you provided, the good news is that your nodule is benign, a simple fibro-adenoma (not complex - associated with other changes in the breast such as adenosis, duct hyperplasia, et cetera) meaning that it has no aggressive or expanding characteristics nor is it a malignant cancer.

Therefore, it will not grow uncontrollably but it will remain where it is without causing any other consequence. In this context, the use of MX3 is beneficial to you as MX3 could help your fibroadenoma to retract and maybe resolve without any other intervention.

Literature review suggests that simple fibroadenomas are not associated with any increased risk for breast cancer and conservative (non-surgical) treatment is recommended. Complex fibroadenomas are associated with a slightly higher risk of breast cancer, but still very low risk.

In many cases, fibro-adenomas resolve or retract by their own, and MX3 could help in this. However, monitoring of the breast is required, especially if you have a family history of breast cancer.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ervin Toçi
