How Can A Wound On The Heel Be Treated?

I suffered a puncture wound to my right heel Sunday night as a screw went through my slipper and into my foot. Went up to my a&e and had a tetanus shot and the screw was removed 3 hours later. It has now been 3 days and I m still in a lot of pain and walking is becoming incredibly difficult

Hi,

You can take analgesics/anti inflammatory combination like Diclofenac and Serratiopeptidase combination for pain relief. If there an signs of infection or redness better to start a short course of antibiotics preferably Amoxi-Clav.

If symptoms persist, you can consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
