How Can Abdominal Bloating And Constipation Be Treated?
Hi, I m a 53 yr old male. 5 11, about 220lbs. For the last two days, I ve felt very bloated and a little constipated. I also have a lot of pressure on my solar plexus, and my guts feel really tight. I am usually very regular, but I do feel constipated and gassy, too. Its kept me from doing anything except sitting in my recliner waiting for it to pass. I looked up symptoms on the symptom checker but nothing seems like a good match.
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. By your history and description, possibility of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) is more likely. So follow these steps for better symptomatic relief. 1. Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid junk food. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals. 2. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Drink plenty of fluids orally. 3. Start pantoprazole and levosulperide combination on empty stomach twice daily. 4. Quit smoking and alcohol if you have these habits. 5. Go for walking after meals. Loose weight if you are obese. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
