IO just finished taking 21 capsules of clindamycin 150mg for a tooth abcess infection....didn t upset my stomach but 1 day later im having growling stomach, gas and urge to go to bathroom w loose stools. Would a probiotic work and if so which brands are best for antibiotic related stomach issues

hi,
I have gone through your history,this is clearly a antibiotic induced diarrhea probably clostridium difficile infection.I would suggest to my patients with this condition probiotics like Enterogermina granules and a course of metronidazole. Review with your doctor and get routine blood and stool tests done and take the appropriate medication.
