How Can Abdominal Bloating And Shortness Of Breath Be Treated?

I have the following symptoms. bloating, and shortness of breath. I cannot eat much because it feels like the food doesn't go all the way down to my stomach. It feels like it sits at the top of my stomach right below my breast. Of course this makes my breathing worse. I had xrays that showed major constipation and have been on laxatives. I also had a lung scan which showed no problems. I am fatigued and have no desire to do anything and I cannot sleep because I cannot catch my breath and find myself focusing on this. I am currently taking ativan .5 mg for possible anxiety but it isn't helping

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi i do care for your concern.
Your history suggest of peptic ulcer disease.
I would advise
To consult your physician and get examination done to rule out ulcer disease
Also breathlessness may be caused due to hiatal hernia, which must be ruled out by scan.
The ulcer disease can be treated with medication alone however hernia might need surgical repair.
hope everything gets well soon.
Hope i have answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask.
Thank you.
